As a Global Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, identifying key contacts, and driving business growth in the global maritime market.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Global Sales Executive with extensive experience in the maritime industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key decision-makers at cruise and ferry lines, introducing our company, and promoting our SaaS service. You will take ownership of the global landscape for specific cruise and ferry markets and collaborate closely with the VP and other stakeholders to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets based on a subscription model and forge strategic partnerships with service providers to maximize our product's industry-wide reach.

Responsibilities:

Market Identification: Identify key contacts, network directors, and IT leadership teams at cruise and ferry lines globally to establish and build relationships.

Customer Qualification: Reach out to potential customers, conduct thorough needs assessments, and qualify leads to determine their suitability for our services.

Global Landscape Ownership: Take ownership of specific cruise and all ferry markets worldwide, researching and understanding market trends, competition, and customer needs.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the VP and other stakeholders to finalize and execute the go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Sales Target Achievement: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets, primarily through subscription-based software lease agreements.

SaaS Product Promotion: Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations, demonstrating how our SaaS service can provide valuable insights into cruise and ferry network performances.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers, leveraging your industry knowledge and product expertise to address their needs effectively.

Strategic Partnerships: Engage with service providers and strategic partners within the maritime industry to expand the reach of our products and explore new growth opportunities.

Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry developments, customer feedback, and market trends to provide valuable insights for product development and sales strategy enhancement.

Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress, providing regular updates to the VP and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in maritime or shipping will be advantageous.

Sales Experience: Proven track record of successful sales experience in the maritime industry, preferably with a focus on cruise and ferry lines.

Global Market Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the global maritime industry, its key players, and the challenges and opportunities within the cruise and ferry markets.

Relationship Management: Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.

Sales Targets: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets in a subscription-based or SaaS model.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations.

Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to decision-making, utilizing market insights and analytics to drive sales strategies.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel globally to meet with customers, attend industry events, and build relationships with stakeholders.
